Pokerbet’s free Daily Over mini-game lets you face six balls from the Australian attack each day of the South Africa versus Australia third Test at Newlands and chase the leaderboard for a R50 Free Bet, with an extra 50 Free Spins if you also place a qualifying bet on the match that same day.
How the Daily Over works
The game appears in your Pokerbet inbox messages. Open it, type the username that matches your verified account, and start. Nothing is required to enter—no deposit and no stake.
You get one turn of six balls each day. The day starts at midnight and ends just before the next midnight. Everything resets every morning so you have a fresh start. To hit the ball, tap your screen when it reaches the hitting area. You can score a six, a four, a two, a single run, get a dot ball (no run), or get out. Your turn is over after the sixth ball or if you get out. Your score is then added to the daily leaderboard.
The player in first place at 23:59:59 takes the Daily Reward. If that same player also placed a qualifying real-money bet on the South Africa versus Australia third Test that day, they receive the Bonus Reward as well.
Scoring and how ties are decided
Only runs matter for ranking. When scores are level, Pokerbet applies this order:
- A not-out innings ranks higher than one that ended with a dismissal.
- If both are not out or both are out, the innings with the most sixes comes next.
- If that is also equal, the innings finished earlier in the day takes the place.
Scores recorded by Pokerbet are final. Any innings that appears automated, manipulated or interfered with can be voided and removed. Usernames are partly hidden on the public leaderboard.
Daily rewards
One Daily Reward is paid each competition day, and you can win on multiple days. Rewards are verified and credited within 24–48 hours, with notification via inbox, SMS or email.
| Reward | Who gets it | Prize | Key conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Daily Reward | 1st place on the daily leaderboard at 23:59:59 SAST | R50 Free Bet | Stake not returned, min odds 1.80, use within 7 days, max winnings R250 |
| Bonus Reward | The daily winner who also placed a qualifying Test bet the same day | Extra 50 Free Spins | On The Dog House Megaways at R0.20 per spin, use within 7 days; winnings as cash with 1× play-through |
Qualifying for the bonus spins
The free game needs no stake. The Bonus Reward does. A qualifying bet is any market on the third Test, minimum R50 at odds of 1.5 or higher, staked with cash (not bonus funds or Free Bets) on the same calendar day as your winning innings.
New players can use Pokerbet promo code MAXBET at sign-up to claim Pokerbet’s welcome offer. Many put that matched balance and free bet toward the R50+ cash wager on the Newlands Test. If they then top the Daily Over leaderboard the same day, the 50 Free Spins are unlocked as well. The game itself stays free either way.
Quick tips while the Test is live
- Play early in the day so a lost connection or device glitch does not wipe your score—Pokerbet is not responsible for innings that fail to record for those reasons.
- Timing is everything; a fraction of a second often separates a four from a six or a single from a dot.
- Place the R50+ Test bet with cash funds on the same day, either before or after your innings.
- Check the leaderboard late in the evening—a late six can still jump you into first place before 23:59:59.
- Not-out innings and sixes are tiebreakers, so staying not out on a modest score can beat a higher total that ended in a dismissal.
Key conditions
You need a verified Pokerbet account. The promotion is open to natural persons aged 18 or older who are South African citizens or permanently resident in South Africa. Multiple accounts or entering someone else’s username leads to disqualification.
You get free bets from the Daily Reward. You have to use them all at once, and the odds must be at least 1.80. They expire in seven days. The free spins are worth R0.20 each and can only be used on The Dog House Megaways. You need to play through the winnings once.
